I’m super interested in AR applications and here’s one from Google Creative Labs. It lets you draw simple illustrations in 3d space and then publish shareable videos. It’s a very cool idea and people can have fun, but I don’t think AR will really take off until it’s widely implemented into the apps that people already use every day.
For example, if something like this was integrated in instagram that would be a whole new thing.
