To be clear, this is an art installation, not an ad or any form of marketing, so it’s a little unusual for me to be including something like this. But, given my interest in IoT, I couldn’t help myself. This is fascinating and opens my eyes to the possibilities of using IoT and robotics in artistic, not just functional ways. Created by artist David Bowen, these stalks of grass are each attached to a pan/tilt servo and are connected to a blade of grass outside that has a wind measuring sensor on it. These blades are mimicking the behavior of grass outdoors. Really inventive and inspiring!
