Eva Air

Eva Air is not the first company to try to leverage the creativity of others to show how creative they are. In fact, this type of borrowed interest is pretty common. That said, this is a very well done site. I chose this example not for the content, which is quite good and inspirational, but for the transitions between content. I’m not sure how they do it, but they have utilized a neat watercolor animation effect. I’ve definitely noticed a trend away from stark functionality and towards more whimsical and artful features in website UX. I think this is just part of the overall “anything goes” design trend that I’ve been seeing lately. It’s liberating.
