It does appear that I’ve been focusing on websites more lately and it’s true, I’m about to go all in on UX design professionally so sites are certainly top of mind. This one for a newly refurbished hotel in the Swiss Alps is a very nice example of how a consistent theme, a simple structure and great attention can make a strong impression and great user experience. A little bit of wit and humor doesn’t hurt either. There is certainly a retro theme in the photography, but the design is very modern so it does not feel dated at all.
This site was created by Hinderling Volkart, a Swiss agency and I think it’s worth exploring their other work too.
