While I love high concept and clever ideas, I also have an appreciation for design that is just plain cool. What stands out to me about this Japanese site for a ski jacket company is the ingenious mix of video and parallax scrolling on the home page. The video and parallax work well together to create a very stunning effect while scrolling. It also makes industrial looms look really graphic and interesting. Not much else to say about it since it’s all in Japanese, but definitely a good design inspiration piece.
