This isn’t the first airline that has appeared in my blog. They seem to do cool stuff. I guess it’s because their subject matter is conducive to interesting executions. In this case it’s the UI that i found compelling. It’s basically a personality type quiz to help you pick a location to travel to. They could have just had some check boxes to click but instead they created as fully immersive experience with video, sliders and a sweet transition effect to make it cooler. Unit 9 and DDB Frankfurt created this for Lufthansa. It seems the trend has moved fully away from tight, efficient interface back into more playful, interactive experiences, and I’m all for that.
