I realize I’ve been going all in on UX and site design examples lately. I’m currently in a full time, immersive UX course so it’s been top of mind, but it’s important to step outside your immediate focus and see what else is out there. I found this series of photos from Jesse Reiser, An LA based photographer. His focus in this series is on what he calls “Modern day ruins” which mark our cultures rapid transition away from brick and mortar shopping experiences. I find the photos to be beautiful in their compositions and pretty melancholic(which is my favorite feeling). I can recognize a lot of the stores myself.
