I think Google Creative Labs has been featured in my blog more than any other creative shop. It’s no mystery why – the consistently come out with playful and fascinating uses of technology. What they are really doing is giving everyone else permission to have fun with the tools they invent in order to help spread the technology. Google is playing the long game here. I’m sure it will pay off when the next big thing is created through their tech. Anyway, this example of AR technology superimposes famous women from US history onto US dollars. It’s both a feat of technology as well as a social statement and that’s a great combination.
