When I first stumbled accross this series of pixelated images in real situations, I was hoping that the artist had physically made the pixel art and shot it. After looking deeper it appears they are comped in. Too bad. However, I think this work by a group of Russian artists is worth discussing. I think the juxtaposition of 2 styles is a good technique to make something stand out or make a viewer stop and think about it.
