Filling the void between science and design. That’s how photographer Spencer Lowell’s work is described. I definitely identify with that notion and I think that’s what drew me to write about his work. The images are beautifully shot and super detailed and interesting at the same time. I think it’s really important to make sure your subject matter – be it photos, infographics, or illustrations – is as beautiful as possible because people will want to look at it and get immersed by it and therefor get a deeper understanding of it.
