I have mixed feelings about this site. It’s made by Anomaly so I suppose that gives it instant street cred right? Well it’s basically a joke site. Ok, I get that the shoes sold by allbirds are natural and come from pure materials, but this is what we call “A long walk for a ham sandwhich” or in other words, a lot of effort to make a point that may or may not be worth the journey.
My suspicion is that some creatives wanted to be clever and sold in this idea as an extra. There’s not much real value to the end user but the creatives get an FWA or whatever award they think is cool.
