I love this kind of photography. The kind you can get lost in. The photographer, Luke Boland, has a mission to document how humans attempt to control nature, and his images tend to be on a vast scale and filled with details you have to slowly absorb as you enter the world of his photos. He patiently observes a specific area for a long time to study the light and how the scene changes throughout the day. There is something to be said about the careful and meticulous planning that goes into every shot. I think the main takeaway from this is to slow down, think about what you are creating, and how peopke will interact with it and be thoughtful with the details.
