The first thing I said to myself when I saw this was “perfect”. It’s technically an internal facing video for employees of a Dutch HR company to explain a company rebrand effort. The animation and illustration style is just so well balanced. This type of illustration runs the risk of feeling childish or overly simple but the agency that made it (Ronin Amsterdam) found the balance. It kind of reminds me of a modern version of old IBM branding by Paul Rand. Definitely something to hold on to and use as inspiration.
