Maradji appears to be a French fashion retail website with e-commerce capabilities. The design itself doesn’t do much for me. It’s nice, clean and modern but nothing to write home(or here) about. What I think is really cool about it is one specific little UI detail which is rollover of the “instashop” images. I’ve never seen anything like it. Organic shapes fill the image until it’s left with a transparent colored tint that allows the overlaid text to be read easily. These shapes grow and shrink from the direction the mouse enters the image. Very cool and unusual and a nice attention to detail!
