Yehwan is a New York based designer who has a really fascinating, process-driven creative method. Her work contains riddles, puzzles and challenges based around sets of rules she creates and sticks to. She creates these rules and doesn’t know what they will lead to visually. I enjoy seeing design that makes you work a little bit to figure it out. As long as it’s grounded in a conceptually cohesive thought or idea then it’s great. The risk is that it could just become a meaningless mess so this process needs to be used carefully.
