I’m calling bullshit on this site. It’s an agency portfolio site for a creative shop based in Paris and San Diego. It’s very difficult to even look at the site since it’s full of gratuitous interaction and animation and the colors are so dark it makes my eyes hurt. They have a weird theme based around the letters O U I that I didn’t even understand until I saw them all together on the contact page. At first I thought they were weird ancient totems or Aztec sculptures. Weird. Navigation is not intuitive at all. It’s difficult to tell where you are or where you are going. Once I got to the work itself it seemed pretty standard but again, the use of unnecessary animation just to have it really negatively affects the experience. This site was FWA of the day and I’m not sure why. What are the criteria? Makes me wonder…/rant.
