Make Me Pulse is a digital studio based in Paris and London. This project appears to be an interactive New Year’s card and it’s pretty glorious. It’s the kind of experience meant to be explored and enjoyed so I feel like it’s ok that the UI is not hyper-efficient. It’s beautifully illustrated and kind of unclear in it’s purpose but it’s a meandering story that has some delightful interaction and animation. There’s an old school feel to it in that the user can explore and in some cases create custom animations that are just fun. The design has a Japanese illustration vibe to it which I always like and it’s very well thought out, down to the texture that feels paper-like. I especially like the user’s ability to grow flowers in positions and heights of their choosing.
